OCEAN + NRCS

Oregon Conservation Landowner Spotlights

The Oregon Conservation Education & Assistance Network (OCEAN) and National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) partnered together to spotlight landowners who had enacted conservation projects on their land to protect our precious soil and water, thanks to federal funding.

We had the distinct pleasure of putting together 10 videos highlighting stories from around the state — from improving irrigation systems and holistic riparian projects that improve water quantity in Eastern Oregon, to coastal pollinator habitats and invasive species removal that protected one of Oregon’s few remaining white oak habitats. The goal of the videos is to encourage other landowners to consider establishing a relationship with NRCS or their local soil and water conservation district.
